Kristin Heller


Originally from Ohio, Kristin received her Bachelor of Arts and Communications in Theater Arts from Bowling Green State University. Before receiving her Master degree in Performing Arts from Portland State University, she founded and was the Artistic Director for a New Works company in Chicago, named Ink and Pulp.  Kristin has apprenticed under world renowned directors such as Tito Capobianco, David Edwards and Elizabeth Bachman.  She was faculty for the Tyrolean Opera Program in Maurach Austria.  As well as faculty for the Napa Music Festival last year.  Her favorite works that she has directed recently include Gian Carlo Menotti’s “The Old Maid and the Thief,” Gaetano Donizetti’s “L’Elisir D’Amore”, Harold Arlen’s “Wizard of Oz”, Donald Margulies “Sight Unseen” and most recently she directed Stephen Sondheim’s “Into the Woods”. 


Currently, residing in Portland, she privately coaches voice, acting, movement, and public speaking.
