Napa Teen Vocal Track
7-day, 14-day, or *24-day sessions

For singers ages 14 - 18**
NTVT is a 7-day, 14-day, or *24-day residential vocal training program for high school students between the ages of 14 and 18. Starting dates are Saturdays between June 13 and July 13, 2015.
NTVT is an exciting, rigorous training program with faculty available to coach a broad range of vocal styles - classical, musical theater, jazz, pop, rock, country western, etc. NTVT prepares high schoolers for successful college entry auditions. Students receive daily group and individual instruction in vocal technique, repertoire expansion, diction and style, performance skills and audition techniques, and acting & dance/movement. They also participate in master classes and other group instruction offered to the adult Festival students.
*Advanced NTVT students wishing to participate in the opera chorus for the staged production of "Les contes d'Hoffmann" should indicate this on their applications and must enroll for the 23-day NTVT session. The primary performance opportunity for the Napa Teen Vocal Track (NTVT) will be a public concert at the conclusion of the session.
Instruction for this program includes four (4) private voice or coaching lessons for a 7-day session in the cost of tuition and seven (7) private voice or coaching lessons for a 14-day session in the cost of tuition. Instruction for the *24-day program includes nine (9) private voice or coaching lessons in the cost of tuition. Schedules permitting, students may arrange additional private lessons at the rate of $75 for a 45-minute session. Students will attend Festival concerts at no charge. NTVT is a residential (overnight) program. The Festival will provide on-site supervision of the housing facility where students will stay. NTVT students may opt to participate as day students at a reduced tuition rate as long as they have family or other responsible adult overnight supervision throughout the program.
